Synopsis

URINETOWN is an irreverent, hilarious tale of corruption, love, and revolution.  In a Gotham-like city, a water shortage, caused by a 20 year drought, has led to a ban on the use of private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's basic needs.  A hero emerges and plans a revolution to lead the citizens to freedom.
